Talk Read Sing VISTA

The VISTA will support the continued implementation of the Talking is Teaching's Talk, Read, Sing Campaign by expanding outreach and focusing on large-scale messaging to reach families effectively. They will create engagement activities for the Lehigh Valley Early Childhood Coalition on topics such as Talk, Read, Sing, kindergarten transition, and early childhood public policy, while developing a primary method of digital engagement. The goal is for the VISTA’s capacity-building efforts to create a natural synergy that simplifies participation in UWGLV's early childhood education resources, rather than frequently developing new strategies for each new partner. For instance, a field framework will be established for healthcare partners, enabling hospitals, clinics, and doctors' offices to utilize universal strategies aligned with UWGLV’s goals. The VISTA will also incorporate best practices and research highlighting the importance of early childhood education and kindergarten readiness, ensuring that all initiatives are informed by evidence-based approaches for maximum impact.
