The National Park Service is hiring a Lead Wildland Firefighter (Engine Captain) for the Fire and Management Division at Natchez Trace Parkway. This is a Career/Career-Conditional permanent position responsible for leading wildland fire suppression and fuels management operations.

Key Responsibilities:
✅ Provide leadership in wildland fire suppression and fuels management, prioritizing crew and equipment safety
✅ Accomplish fire management objectives in high-complexity wildland-urban interface environments
✅ Perform wildland fire suppression through preparedness, prevention, hazardous fuel reduction, training, and prescribed fire
✅ Conduct structure assessments following the USNPS National Fire Management Plan Framework
