Supply Chain Logistics Intern

About this Opportunity

MillerKnoll’s Summer Internship Program is a paid, 12-week opportunity that provides a 100% real-world experience for students early in their careers. Throughout the summer you will apply academic learning to real-world situations and cultivate leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. 


As a Supply Chain Logistic and Planning Intern, you will work with our Global Logistics team and learn more about order execution, traffic planning, load scheduling, customs documentation and carrier contract negotiations.  This role will split time with our Supply Chain Operations team focusing on analytics, procurement, production planning, and project based work.

·       Attain on-the-job work experience that is aligned with career objectives.  
·       Participate in cross-functional teamwork to complete Intern Project.  
·       Perform additional responsibilities as needed to achieve business objectives.  
·       Perform tasks related to the degree program as assigned by the work team leader.


What You Bring 
The needed skills and experience for this role include... 

·       Knowledge of Supply Chain Management and supplier relationships.
·       Creative and critical thinking skills.
·       Analytical and problem-solving skills.
·       Effective time management skills.
·       Attention to detail.
·       Enrolled and pursuing a four-year Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics Management, or a related field from an accredited college or university, and able to provide transcripts upon request.
·       You must have a GPA of at least 3.0 (overall or within your program) to qualify for consideration in the Intern Program.
·       Must have satisfactorily completed basic coursework in the chosen degree program.   
·       Must be authorized to work in the United States.  
·       Must be able to perform all essential functions of the position with or without accommodations.
