2025 US Undergraduate Internship - Product Design, US Sports

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Continuously aware of information needed to design a consumer and brand relevant product including Trade fairs, cultural events, sporting events, athlete insights, Trade publications, general interest press, trend services, fashion sportswear magazines, market visits and relevant forecast and sell-through numbers.
- Assists a team in seasonal and long-term design direction for their category including Footwear and Apparel Color and Footwear Materials
- Contributes to design direction by assisting in trend forecasting content relevant to our consumer and brand, working closely with the design team, providing Color and Material content and direction, collaboration and critiquing, and product execution
- Assists in designing Footwear Color and Material executions for Inline and/or Key Account ranges with input from Design, Marketing, and Development including seasonal prep and research, creating product design presentations; both physical and digital, creating Color CADs and Material Maps, development process & costing and communicating inspiration and storytelling to Marketing
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Computer Skills (Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop, Power Point/Key Note, Apple Mac Operating system)
- Passion for footwear
- 3D not required, but beneficial
- Ability to understand design concepts and think conceptually
- Ability to create designs that meet category needs and commercial opportunities
- Ability to operate in a fast pace, ever changing work environment
- Works well in a team environment. This position requires employee to engage with any stakeholders, as well as manage various information and relationships
- Ability and desire to push themselves, others, and the brand forward.
- Ability to influence and collaborate with key business partners
QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program at a College/University
- Anticipated graduation date is between December 2025 and August 2026
- Eligible to work in the US without restrictions.
- Available to participate in our 12-week full-time internship program from May/June to August/September 2025

In early 2024, we began the three chapter journey into the future, centered on our new brand campaign, You Got This. "You Got This" is designed to motivate everyone to overcome pressure and realize their personal potential.

This is your chance to think outside the box, show adidas your authentic self and what makes you passionate about joining the Brand. The only requirement is that the adidas 1-Pager is submitted as a PDF. It can be in any format such as print, visual, written, digital, a link, etc.
