Civil Project Engineer
Passero Associates’ Charlotte, NC Office has an excellent opportunity for a Civil Project Engineer with 6+ years’ experience to work in our growing Charlotte, NC office on a diverse range of civil/site projects using the latest advancements in industry technology. Projects involve work with residential, commercial, municipal and institutional clients. At Passero Associates, we focus on working in a team environment, all while promoting individual responsibility. Passero Engineers have the opportunity to work on all aspects of project delivery from concept to construction closeout, including client interaction.
Responsibilities:
- Understand and create full sets of construction documents, including specifications
- Develop cost estimates
- Coordinate with a multi-disciplinary team to execute projects
- Provide construction administrative services
Qualifications/ Experience:
- BS degree in Civil Engineering / Civil-related field
- 6+ years’ experience in site development
- Site, Highway, Drainage and Utility Design experience
- Water/wastewater experience a plus
- Experience in conducting board and client meetings for small- to moderate-sized projects, preferred
- Experienced in land use and municipal approvals
- Experienced in preparation of Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3-D
- Strong communication and technical writing skills
- Experienced in preparing project submissions and related documents/forms
- PE preferred
