Intern, Digital Marketing and Promotions

Position Summary: 

The Digital Marketing and Promotions intern will assist with the development and execution of email, web and mobile initiatives as well as assist with planning and executing various in-stadium and out-of-stadium fan engagement initiatives. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Help plan and execute email newsletters, ticket guides, and other email marketing initiatives.
  • Assist with campaign analysis across all owned channels and promotions, including building reporting decks and presentations for internal use.
  • Write and edit push notifications and text messages promoting ticket sales, team content and more.
  • Coordinate and execute various in-stadium and out-of-stadium fan engagement initiatives, including, but not limited to, theme night activations, giveaways and promotions, first pitches, and more.
  • Manage the continued development, implementations, execution, engagement, and growth of T.C. Sluggers Kids Club and the Armed Forces Flag Raising Program.
  • Support marketing projects throughout the year and other duties as assigned.

Required Experience and Education:

  • College student or recent college graduate. Preferably studying Communications, Business, Marketing or equivalent.

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

  • Creative writing background.
  • Ability to own projects start to finish, manage multiple projects at once.
  • Experience using content calendars, email products and/or content management systems.
  • Able to work evening hours and weekends.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Headline or subject line writing experience.

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to lift items 35 pounds as needed.

Time Commitment: February 2025 - October 2025.

Hours: 40 hours/week.

Pay Rate: $17/hour.
