Wonderment Therapies PLLC was founded in 2019 and is a therapist-owned company focusing on serving pediatrics in Dickinson and surrounding communities. We serve children of various ages and special needs in a variety of settings, including outpatient clinic, daycares, preschools, community settings, in nature, and in homes.
Our organization is seeking an Occupational Therapist or Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide occupational therapy services to children and their families in an outpatient setting, in daycares/preschools/schools, in the client's home, in nature, and in the community. This position requires a deep understanding of pediatric development and the ability to create individualized treatment plans that are tailored to the specific needs of each patient. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping children reach their full potential and have excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Special interest in animal assisted therapies is a plus!
Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate patients' physical, cognitive, and psychosocial abilities.
- Develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Provide direct patient care in a variety of settings.
- Educate patients and families on the use of adaptive equipment and techniques.
- Collaborate with other professionals and community members to coordinate care for patients.
- Provide education to families and caregivers on how to best support the patient's needs.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote independence in daily living activities.

Salary: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
