We are comprised of several units including Financial Analysis, Accounting Operations, Procurement Services, Sponsored Programs, and Treasury. We are in search of Reporting Accountants to join our team in the Finance-Sponsored Programs office. This is an exciting opportunity for business majors interested in not-for-profit and governmental accounting. The Reporting Area of Sponsored Programs prepares approximately 9,000 reports annually while ensuring compliance with sponsor guidelines. Employees in this role will gain experience preparing income statements, training in fund accounting, and understanding of the University financial systems.

Starting Salary: $58,000

You should have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field with 8 accounting courses.  You should enjoy working in an organization that is transactional in nature and has many opportunities for growth.  You have the experience providing customer service while managing a high workload. You can understand the details of income statement reporting, are organized, and can use spreadsheet software to analyze data.
