Role Summary

This role offers invaluable experience in investor outreach, market research, and the creation of compelling fundraising materials, preparing you for a future career in finance and sustainable investment.

Key Responsibilities

  • ESG Green Oil Finance Deal: Collaborate on a pioneering ESG green oil finance deal, contributing to sustainable energy solutions.
  • Investor Outreach: Lead the identification and outreach to potential investors, including banks, private equity firms, and other financial institutions, using platforms like LinkedIn, RocketReach, and Apollo.io to initiate contact and follow-up.
  • Market Research: Conduct in-depth market research to identify and prioritize potential investors who align with our technology and investment objectives.
  • Fundraising Materials: Assist in preparing high-quality pitch decks, presentations, and reports to effectively communicate our value proposition to potential investors.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Track and document outreach efforts and outcomes, providing regular updates to the team and contributing to strategic decisions.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with various teams within Tigbourne Capital to ensure cohesive and effective fundraising strategies.

Qualifications

  • Interest in Finance, Fundraising, and Energy: A demonstrated passion for the finance and energy sectors, with a strong interest in fundraising and business development within sustainable investment opportunities.
  • Educational Background: Currently enrolled in college and at least 18 years old. While a degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field is preferred, it's not mandatory.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders and craft persuasive outreach messages.
  • Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify promising investor targets, and draw insights from market research.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, while also taking initiative and working independently when needed.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment, with a willingness to learn, adapt, and tackle new challenges.
