GMP Laboratory Support Associate Scientist

Job Description

 

 

· Performing routine lab operations including: expired reagent sweeps, waste staging, login/logout/removal of laboratory reagents and maintenance of laboratory equipment to maintain an audit-ready state..

· Maintaining, ordering and stocking laboratory consumables and glassware, and interfacing with internal departments to ensure efficient laboratory operations.

· Coordinating equipment preventive maintenance/repairs with asset management and scientific staff.

· Assisting in general lab housekeeping.

· Cross-functional collaboration with EHS, Facilities, Asset Management, and scientific staff on routine operations and on continuous improvement efforts for optimal operating efficiency.

· Assisting other laboratory areas as needed

· Assisting the Stability and Sample Handling group with vial labeling on an as needed basis.

 

Qualifications

 

· Familiarity with a lab environment and lab safety procedures.

· Basic knowledge of chemistry and/or general science a plus.

· Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills.

· Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude.

· Ability to work within time constraints

· Ability to engage in and support culture of continual improvement through ownership of improvement for work processes, equipment and safe work environment

· Ability to learn new tasks, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
