What You Will Be Doing

The Treasury Analyst is responsible for supporting the management company and hotels by performing cash management, accounts payable and accounting functions in a timely and accurate fashion.  

Additional Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage banking relationships
  • Work with bank contacts to open and close bank accounts
  • Execute wires using various treasury management systems
  • Complete cash positions of each of the hotels to understand current liquidity on a weekly basis
  • Ensure accounts are funded; identify cash needs and notify Regional Controllers
  • Facilitate the opening and closing of merchant ids; set up users
  • Manage escheatment/unclaimed property process for corporate accounts payable accounts
  • Assist with month end closing activities related to the management company
  • Perform research on outstanding checks, process voids and stop pays
  • Perform 1099 reporting
  • Process miscellaneous deposits for the management company
  • Prepare necessary information from all properties for policy end audits and prepare special reports as requested by insurer or properties as needed
  • Manage the issuance of certificates of insurance as requested by the properties, lenders, investors, etc.

Specific Job Knowledge Skills & Abilities

  • Experience with Sage Intacct, Profit Sword Suite, and Hotel Effectiveness.
  • Basic accounting principles such as accruals, debit/credit, matching principle
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Meet established timelines

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university with a degree in business required, preferably in finance or accounting or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2 - 4 Years of Treasury Experience for a multi-unit business, Highly Preferred.
  • Hospitality Industry Experience, Highly Preferred.
