Business Analyst Trainee
Summary
As a Business Analyst, you will support the development and implementation of data-driven solutions for our company. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Digital Marketing, and Marketplace Operations, to identify opportunities for data-driven insights and optimization, contributing to the efficiency of multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and data requirements, and help translate complex findings into easy-to-understand visualizations and reports for non-technical stakeholders.
- Support the optimization and improvement of existing data pipelines, ensuring data quality and accuracy, while assisting in new data collection and processing.
- Analyze data and business processes to identify areas for improvement, streamline operations, and optimize business outcomes.
- Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to track key business metrics and effectively communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Assist in the development of statistical models to analyze datasets, identify trends, and provide actionable insights for the company.
- Monitor model performance and accuracy, and support the refinement of models to improve results and drive business impact.
Basic Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Project experience in business analysis, data science, or a related field. Machine learning experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, or similar, with experience in creating dashboards and reports.
- Knowledge of the fundamental principles of statistical modeling techniques, including regression, clustering, and time series analysis.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively to develop solutions to business challenges.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well with team members from diverse backgrounds and functional areas.
