UMH-West: Patient And Family Advisory Council Member

The University of Michigan Health-West (UMH-West) Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC) is a partnership between the hospital and members of the community. The members of the PFAC are volunteers who give their time to provide patient’s perspective on hospital processes. We value and strive for diversity in opinions and perspectives in healthcare experiences.

Requirements:

*Be a recipient of care or caregiver to someone who receives care from University of Michigan Health-West

*Attend a minimum of 6 meetings per year (either in-person or virtually)

Tasks:

*Provide input on hospital processes and facility design

*Review written materials designed for patients

*Participate in quality improvement activities
