The Salesforce Architect will play a critical role in shaping and guiding the CHG's Salesforce digital strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving innovation. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the architecture related to research and development, implementation, and maintenance of the Salesforce ecosystems working closely with enterprise architecture, product and engineering teams. The Salesforce Architect will help ensure that the architecture and Salesforce portfolio is also aligned with the overall digital and business strategy and goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    * Develop and maintain the Salesforce architecture framework, including defining principles, standards, and guidelines for infrastructure, applications, and data management, with a specific emphasis on software architecture, capabilities, and development.
    * Analyze business processes and identify opportunities to leverage Salesforce solutions to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and customer experience.
    * Research, design and evaluate Salesforce solutions to align with business requirements and strategic goals, considering factors such as scalability, flexibility, maintainability, and cost-effectiveness - consistently addressing time-to-value (build vs buy).
    * Identify and evaluate potential Proof of Concept (POC) opportunities based on business needs, technology trends, and emerging solutions.
    * Work with product teams to develop and implement POC plans, including defining objectives, scope, resources, and timelines. Evaluate POC results, assess feasibility and potential impact, and make recommendations for further development or adoption and share learnings with stakeholders.
    * Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to gather input, communicate architectural decisions, and ensure alignment with business and customer needs.
    * Lead the development of Salesforce architecture documentation, including models, diagrams, and specifications, with a focus on architecture artifacts and documentation.
    * Stay abreast of emerging Salesforce and related software technologies, trends, and best practices to identify potential opportunities for innovation and improvement.
    * Participate in the management of the enterprise architecture repository, ensuring data integrity and accessibility, particularly for software architecture-related information.
    * Provide guidance and support to product development teams during the development, implementation, and integration of new software solutions.
    * Conduct regular reviews of the Salesforce architecture to assess its effectiveness and identify areas for improvement, specifically in the context of software architecture and development practices.

Key Requirements:
    * As a member of the Architecture team help develop, document and communicate our Salesforce architecture strategy and vision on a rolling 18-24 month roadmap.
    * Proactive in working with teams to continually align their designs and architecture to that Salesforce architecture vision and strategy.
    * Develop a respected working relationship with stakeholders and be seen as a valued conduit in gaining alignment between stakeholders and product development teams.
    * Research of the market and able to bring innovative ideas to help differentiate CHG from our competition and within the industry.

Qualifications:
    * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, and/or a related field and experience
    * 5+ years of experience in architecture or a related role, with a demonstrated track record of success in managing software architecture and development projects.
    * Proven ability to develop and implement architecture frameworks, standards, and guidelines, particularly in the context of software architecture.
    * Strong understanding of business processes, software development methodologies, and how technology can be used to support business objectives.
    * Excellent communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills.
    * Experience with cloud-native software architectures and microservices patterns.
    * Knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies.
    * Ability to think strategically and translate business needs into technical software solutions.
    * Proficiency in architecture tools and methodologies, as well as software development tools and methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:
    * Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
    * Certifications in Salesforce developer, platform and/or administration.
    * Certification in architecture, such as The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF), and similar software architecture related concepts such as Business Architecture Body of Knowledge (BIZBOK) and Business Technology Architecture Body of Knowledge (BTABoK)

We believe in fair compensation for all of our people, which is why our pay structure takes into account the cost of labor across U.S. geographic markets. For this position, we offer a pay range of $160,600 -- $310,100 annually, with pay varying depending on work location and job-related factors such as knowledge, position level and experience. During the hiring process, your recruiter can provide more information about the specific salary range for the job location.

CHG Healthcare offers starting salaries for sales positions in the form of total target compensation (TTC = base + commission + bonus), which includes base pay, commission, and bonuses. Sales positions receive short-term incentives through commission plans and bonuses. On the other hand, non-sales positions have starting salaries that consist of a base salary and short-term incentives through various bonus plans, which are paid out monthly, quarterly, or annually.
