*Please note – to apply for a role within our Production & Operations Program, you must visit www.bp.com/uscampus, utilize our Candidate Matching Tool, and apply to a matched role (only one role application per candidate).

Thinking about your future? So are we. We’re working hard to deliver a better and more balanced energy system and become a net zero company by 2050 – and to help the world get there, too.

But we can’t do it alone. Whether you’re working on deepwater platforms, in our amazing refineries, or in our onshore oil and gas operating centers, at bp we’ll give you the support to truly leave your mark. So, what do you say?

Take a next step in your career and start your early career program in production & operations (P&O) in 2025.

P&O is our largest business area and is helping transform our hydrocarbon business to be at the heart of bp’s net zero future.

Early careers who join the three-year P&O program will follow one of four tracks: health, safety, environment & carbon (HSE&C), wells, subsurface or project controls.

P&O early careers follow a structured program to accelerate foundational technical experience. The program supports the transition of graduates from university to discipline professional and provides a framework of ‘non-technical’ skills to support personal effectiveness.

We have roles on offer in:

  • Project Controls
  • Health, Safety, Environment & Carbon (HSE&C)
  • Wells
  • Geosciences
  • Petroleum & Reservoir Engineering
  • Subsurface Technology

We need the brightest talent around, so we created a rewards and benefits package to attract the very best. We also have a wide range of resources and initiatives, designed with your health and wellbeing in mind.
