Junior Network Security Engineer
This is junior engineer contract opportunity 6-12 month with possible extension.
Starting rate $30-$40

Job Description
- Responsible for RiteAid's Network Security infrastructure on-Prem with GCP integration.
- Responsible for the turn up, maintenance, and support of firewall infrastructure equipment ensuring network uptime of 99.999%.
- Responsible for handling project tasks and support tickets.
- Evaluate new industry tools and solutions and participate in POC runs.
- Assist in implementation of Infrastructure migrations, expansions, replacements related to Network, Security & Cloud (GCP)
Job Requirements
- Desired experience with Network, Security & Cloud (GCP)
- Desired experience with major firewall vendors such PaloAlto, Checkpoint, Cisco, and FortiGates
- Desired experience with Panorama and templatized firewall deployment and management.
- Follow firewall patch cycles to stay on up today recommended releases.
- Understanding of routing and switching protocols, VPNs, and NAT
- Desired experience deploying and managing NAC solutions such as Cisco ISE
- Familiarity with micro segmentation concepts and products such as Illumio and/or Guardicore.
- Desired experience with PKI and certificate lifecycle. Understanding of certificate lifecycle automation.
- Nice to have experience with Akami security controls such as WAF, Bot mitigation, CDN, and web application segmentation.
- Advanced understanding of TCP/IP is required, including the ability to perform and analyze packet captures.
- Desired experience with network diagram tools.
- Participate in Incident response, performance and connectivity resolution round tables, and change approval board meetings.
- Desired experience with troubleshooting, performance analysis and availability of mission-critical applications, with a focus on on-prem and cloud environments
- Self-driven and resourceful to achieve goals independently as well as collaboratively as a fully participating member of the Team.
