At Marshwood Middle, we are dedicated to nurturing the holistic growth of our students. Our school places a strong emphasis on academic, social, and emotional development, ensuring a safe and supportive environment where children can develop the skills and mindset needed to become lifelong learners. As part of the MSAD 35 district, Marshwood Middle School is committed to empowering students and fostering a strong sense of community. Our dedicated faculty and staff work tirelessly to create an enriching educational experience that prepares students for success, inspiring and guiding the next generation in a setting that truly celebrates the beauty of learning and living.

As a Hawk Coach, you will have the opportunity to:

Your creativity and understanding will be key in fostering an inclusive atmosphere where every student feels valued and supported.

As a Hawk Coach, you will guide and support your cohort in achieving their volunteering goals, fostering a spirit of service and leadership.
  • Create and Lead After-School Programs: Perhaps the most exciting aspect of this role is the unique opportunity to create and run an after-school club. With endless possibilities, you can bring your best ideas forward to design a program that aligns with students’ interests and needs. This club will be a space for students to explore new activities, build friendships, and further develop their SEL skills in a fun and engaging setting.
  • Collaborate with Staff: Work closely with teachers and other school staff to ensure that the SEL needs of students are met across various contexts, promoting academic success alongside social and emotional well-being. Your collaboration will help create a cohesive support system for students, enhancing their overall school experience.
