About the Vanderbilt Office of Investments (OoI)

At OoI, our mission is to protect and grow Vanderbilt’s endowment by achieving outstanding long-term investment returns. The endowment provides over $2.8 billion for student financial aid, programs, faculty, and operations. We partner globally to find superior investment opportunities.

The Role

As an intern, you will support our investment team by analyzing financial data, conducting market research, and assisting with the due diligence process. You will gain hands-on experience in either public and private investments, contribute to portfolio monitoring, and participate in team meetings. This role provides a comprehensive introduction to endowment investing, offering valuable insights and practical skills in the finance industry.

Growth Opportunity

Gain firsthand experience in financial markets, enhancing your skills in Excel, Backstop, and Bloomberg. Participate in market commentary, data analytics, and strategic discussions. Benefit from guidance by expert mentors and analysts. This internship offers an exclusive "first look" at our three-year investment analyst program with potential for a full-time return offer for our analyst program after graduation.
