Human Resources Intern

Job Description: 

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Specialist to join our team. The HR Specialist will be responsible for assisting with the administration of various HR functions, including recruitment and selection, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, and HR records management.

Responsibilities: 

• Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for assigned positions, including job postings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
• Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition and compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Provide support in employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling.
• Coordinate employee training and development initiatives, identifying needs and recommending relevant programs.
• Administer employee benefits programs and serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to benefits.
• Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
• Support HR projects and initiatives as assigned by the HR Manager or Director.

Qualifications: 

• Professional certification in HR (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Hand-on experience in HR roles, with a strong understanding of HR best practices and employment laws.
• Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Proficiency in identifying and addressing HR-related challenges with analytical thinking and practical solutions.

• Capacity to adapt to changing HR policies, regulations, and organizational needs, ensuring flexibility in approach and solutions.
