Job Title: Public Relations and Marketing Coordinator -AmeriCorps VISTA Member 

Organization: Wyandotte Clinic for the Working Uninsured

Location: 3333 Biddle Ave, Wyandotte, MI 48192

About the Organization:

The mission of the Wyandotte Clinic for the Working Uninsured Foundation, through the Downriver Community Clinic, is to provide quality primary medical care to workers in need. The Clinic exists to help adult uninsured and underinsured workers improve and maintain good health by providing primary and preventive care, education, and referral so that they may continue to work to support themselves and their families.

AmeriCorps VISTA members receive a stipend of $877 bi-weekly stipend and an education award of $7,895 or a cash stipend of $1,800 upon completion of service.

Qualifications:

  • Communicate effectively both oral and written; research, develop, present, and promote program to community, potential donors, and potential partners.
  • Ability to support planning, development, and establishment of new and established programs effectively and efficiently.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and serve with multiple projects.
  • Ability to work well within a team environment and record progress.
  • Strong interests in volunteer service. 
  • Social media and marketing experience 
  • Able to serve full-time with 37.5 hours a week.
