Environmental Supervisor (20043571) - Hybrid

What We Need YOU To Do:

The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency wants you to join our team as an Environmental Supervisor with the Division of Materials and Waste Management (DMWM) at our Northwest District Office.

 

You’ll feel well-grounded here.

In your new role, you will supervise DMWM program staff to ensure successful administration and enforcement of the Agency’s geo and hydrologic conditions for Ohio’s solid waste, infectious waste, and construction and demolition debris programs.

You’ll track work commitments and oversee staff tasks including groundwater and leachate data review, hydrogeologic investigations, samplings and inspections. To ensure protection of groundwater resources near waste disposal facilities, you’ll provide guidance and support in the review of applicable groundwater monitoring plans and data.

You’ll create and compile data, reports and letters, and advise on matters of compliance monitoring strategies and enforcement referrals. When necessary, you’ll provide testimony as required for enforcement cases.

As subject expert, you’ll lend technical assistance to consultants, government officials, industry, and citizens on subject-related matters. You’ll represent the agency and attend and participate in topical conferences, seminars and public hearings, and meetings.
