We are seeking energetic, passionate people who enjoy the outdoors and want to play a key role for the position of Automotive Mechanic 2 within the Division of Parks & Watercraft, headquartered at Lake Hope State Park, assigned to Vinton county. Please note to meet minimum requirements for position you are required to have a CDL class A with no restrictions.
What you will do…
- Perform preventative maintenance & service on fleet & equipment;
- Perform skilled labor (e.g., electrical, plumbing, carpentry) & maintenance functions of indoor/outdoor facilities & grounds;
- Maintain computer records of repairs & maintenance;
- Purchase, maintain & track supplies.
- Starting hourly pay of $21.63/hr with multiple pay increases over your first 4.5 years with an end salary of $24.66/hr

Qualifications
24 mos. exp. in automotive repair & maintenance of variety of vehicles or equipment. The final applicant accepted for this position will be required to submit to urinalysis prior to appointment to test for illegal drug use. An applicant with a positive test result will not be offered employment, per Section 3719.01 & 3719.41 of Ohio revised code. Valid commercial driver's license required if motor equipment is of type & size regulated by sections 4506.01 & 4506.12 of Ohio revised code.
