Administrative Operations Specialist - Operations and Brand Support

Summary of Job Duties:

The Administrative Operations Specialist helps university relations achieve its desired communications goals and objectives by performing a wide variety of administrative, fiscal and budgetary support tasks as well as assisting team leaders in operations and brand support, executive, administrative, marketing, and integrated communications with varied projects.

This position reports directly to the Senior Director for Operations & Brand Management and is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy.

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.


Qualifications:

 

Minimum Qualifications:

The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma

At least one year of specialized training in business management, business education, or related field

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education

Two years or more experience providing administrative support

Two years or more experience providing fiscal/budgetary support

Experience with Workday Enterprise Management software

Experience working in higher education

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Knowledge of record keeping procedures

Knowledge of the principles and practices of mathematics and statistics

Knowledge of work-related subject area

Knowledge of computers and software applications

Ability to conduct research and compile data into report form

Ability to establish and maintain filing systems

Ability to operate standard office equipment

Ability to analyze documents to determine compliance with rules, regulations, and procedures

Strong communication skills: written, verbal, and listening

Possess attention-to-detail skills

Ability to be dependable and punctual

Ability to work independently, collaborate with a team, exercise good judgment in a deadline-driven environment

Ability to deliver and receive critique and feedback positively


Additional Information:


Salary Information:

$43,000 - $47,000
