ABA Lead Behavior Technician

Do you love working with kids and making a difference? BRAINS is looking for dedicated, compassionate, and energetic individuals to join our ABA team! We offer home-based ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy services in West Michigan to help and support children with autism and their families.  This position is full time between 35 - 40 hours per week with full benefits and starting wage of $19 - $22 per hour

In this position, you will:

  • Provide treatment using ABA principles and techniques while executing a plan of care designed by BCBAs
  • Provide accurate documentation for insurance billing and treatment services
  • Assist supervisors in developing clinical programs and maintain quality assurance of direct therapy 
  • Provide training and support other behavior technicians as needed
  • Support BCBAs in creation of program materials
  • Provide temporary coverage for sessions as needed
  • Model and promote good communication with administrative and clinical duties 
  • Travel throughout the Grand Rapids area to sessions in home, daycare, or community settings

We are looking for:

  • Previous ABA experience is a requirement 
  • Preference will be given to grad students in an ABA program.  Supervision and indirect hours will be provided.
  • Ability to improve, innovate, inspire and challenge other team members and advocate for persons with significant behavioral needs
  • Highly skilled in verbal and/or written communication and detail oriented
