The City of Oshkosh Parks Department is on the lookout for our next essential Parks Trades Technician! Are you ready to roll up your sleeves and make our parks, zoo, aquatic facility, cemeteries, and landscapes shine? 🌟

🌲 What You'll Dive Into:

Dynamic Work: From semi-skilled tasks to manual labor, every day is different. You'll be involved in construction, maintenance, equipment upkeep, and more!

Leadership Opportunities: Sometimes you'll take the lead, guiding Parks Maintenance Workers and working closely with the Assistant Parks Director or designee.

🔎 What We're Looking For:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent. 📜

Experience: At least 2 years in facility and small engine maintenance 🔧

License: Class A CDL at time of application is a must 🚛

✨ Bonus Points for:

Technical Expertise: Related technical experience is a strong asset

Specialized Skills: Turf grass management, horticulture, small engine repair, or plumbing experience 🌱💧

Licenses: Wisconsin pesticide and ornamental license

Role: Full-time, non-exempt position

Compensation: Hourly range of $26.08 – $29.81, based on your impressive qualifications 💵
