The Santa Ana Water Board’s Groundwater Protection Branch has an opening for a Supervising Engineering Geologist who will serve as Branch Manager. The position is located at 3737 Main Street, Suite 500, Riverside in the heart of downtown next to light rail stations and other public transportation.

Duties:

The Supervising Engineering Geologist (Branch Manager) uses geologic and engineering expertise and management skills to perform the supervisory duties of the Groundwater Protection Division. 

This is a supervisory position. Please review the attached Duty Statement for description of roles and responsibilities.

Salary information – CalHR salary rules allow appointment at the entrance rate (Cal. Code Regs., tit. 2, § 599.673) of a classification. For classes with alternate ranges, placement is based on education/experience.
