Sales Engineer

Sales Engineers at The Lee Company actively engage with our customers to solve engineering problems that result in the development of new products. Continually seeking business development opportunities, Sales Engineers look to apply The Lee Company solutions to applications in a wide range of industries including aerospace, space, automotive, scientific instruments, diagnostics, oil, and gas equipment, motorsports, and more.

What We’re Looking For:

An enthusiastic, self-motivated engineer who is interested in a sales position within a dynamic and fast-growing engineering company.

Qualifications for this position include:

  • BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • The ability to effectively manage multiple accounts and opportunities simultaneously
  • A willingness to travel occasionally
  • Ideally 1-3 years of B2B sales experience
  • Local candidates preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting customers throughout the sales cycle, from the initial opportunity, through the development process, and ultimately into production.
  • Communicating regularly with design engineers and the procurement team regarding current and future business.
  • Meeting with customers and presenting them with information on new and existing Lee Company products.
  • Growing sales through the discovery of new business opportunities within sales territory.
