Nashua PAL (Police Athletic League) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to teaching our youth the values and rewards that can be accomplished through self-determination, belief in oneself, desire, teamwork, and respect for others. Nashua PAL’s mission is to create a positive attitude between the children of Nashua and the members of the Police Department through PAL sponsored sports, enrichment, recreation, leadership, and educational activities.

Nashua PAL was founded and incorporated in 1989.  Originally, PAL programs consisted of special community events in Nashua’s inner-city “Tree Streets” neighborhood. In 2004, PAL secured a permanent location (52 Ash St.), designated the Nashua PAL Youth Safe Haven. PAL is committed to inner city youth programming, and a number of exclusive youth sports programs throughout the city. Today, Nashua PAL serves over 2,000 youth in Southern New Hampshire within our 16 educational and engaging programs.

A member in this role will:

  • Assess and address mental health topics and the impacts they have on the youth at Nashua PAL and in the Nashua community
  • Increase community outreach/engagement
  • Increase resources to benefit the children and families of Nashua
