Mohawk is looking for a Recent College Grad who can do more with Mohawk Flooring North America brands across commercial. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in pursuing a career in sales to gain practical experience and advance within the world’s leading flooring manufacturer. As a participant in our Sales Academy Program, you will be learning from a company that is leading the industry in flooring technology, which will allow you to hone your leadership skills and build your career! Our 6-month training program will include hands-on immersion into our Corporate Headquarters and surrounding offices, plant tours, operational department rotations, sales experiences, and honing your leadership skills.

 

The Sales Academy program will lead to a full time Account Executive Position in one of our US Territories. This is a paid training program - Housing will be fully covered and provided while in training, as well as relocation upon completing the program!

 

What You’ll Do

Under the guidance of experienced sales professionals, you will learn about our products/services, sales techniques, customer relationship management, and market analysis!

  • Sales Market, Business and Organizational Knowledge (30%)
  • Understanding the global landscape of Mohawk Industries
  • Learning the Commercial Construction business
  • Growing your network inside of the organization

 

  • Product Knowledge and Application (40%)
  • Understanding our product lines and applying them in the correct market segments
  • Apply plant tour knowledge into your presentations
  • Understanding of how these departments work within our organization: Marketing, Sales Operations, Customer Service, Installs & Claims

 

  • Presentation and Influencing Skills (30%)
  • Learn how to be an industry best with presentation skills
  • Understand the Commercial Flooring Industry and how to leverage relationships in the complexity of buyer types

 

What You Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Design, or other related degree. Certificates are also a plus.
  • Minimum of 2.5 GPA
  • Less than three years professional experience
  • Able to relocate within the USA
  • Able to fly and drive to Mohawk’s domestic locations for training events and meetings (Must have a reliable means of transportation during training)

  • Expect to travel approximately 50%.
  • While we’re a primarily in-office team, we thrive on flexibility and ensuring our people can balance personal and professional time
  • Housing in Dalton, GA will be FULLY covered during the 6-month training program
  • Willing to relocate around the US (Relocation assistance provided)
