RW2 Fundraising and Sustainability Coordinator VISTA

Volunteers in Service to America (VISTA) is a government program and branch of AmeriCorps that places volunteers in nonprofit community organizations where they will complete capacity building projects over the course of one year with the goal of reducing and eliminating poverty in the United States.

AmeriCorps mission is “to strengthen communities and develop leaders through direct, team-based direct national and community service.”

RW2 is on a mission to change the FACE and close the gap in the nation’s technically skilled workforce. Each letter in the word FACE is capitalized reflecting the underrepresentation of diverse faces in the technically skilled workforce. The VISTA member will help us increase our capacity, effectiveness, and resources for the inclusion of more diverse talent.

Member Duties : The VISTA Member will develop the organization’s standard operating procedures for agency wide processes to enable the organization to grow in a more organized and streamlined manner. The VISTA will also develop and execute the organization's first fundraising initiative aimed at increasing brand awareness for RW2 while highlighting the students served and related needed resources.
