Bilingual Social Worker

The Bilingual Social Worker on the team, you will have the opportunity to coordinate care, provide psychoeducation, meet with clients and caregivers to further treatment goals. As the Bilingual Social Worker you will be responsible for ensuring that all parties are working together toward stability for the child and family by functioning as the team clinical leader for your respective caseload and providing behavioral interventions as needed.

 

ABOUT WRAPAROUND

The Solano Wraparound Program serves Solano County children and adolescents in the Child Welfare, Probation and Mental Health systems that are transitioning from or are at risk of going to out of home care or juvenile hall. The Wraparound approach focuses on supporting children by enhancing natural resources within their families and communities so that they can live in the least restrictive, most family-like setting possible. Services are primarily held in the community: in families’ homes, group homes, foster homes, schools, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Child and Family team meetings that maintain compliance to Katie A subclass spsychoeducatione Core Practice Model
  • Cultivate and maintain engagement and alignment with community members, county partners and other providers
  • Provide assistance in case planning and consultation to team members on clinical issues, as well as casework issues, as appropriate
  • Work with Wraparound team members to build connections for family
  • Chart mental health notes, treatment plans, outcome measures, incident reports, and other documentation accurately and in a timely manner
  • Participate in 24 hours on call support line system
  • Participate in individual and/or group supervision

Qualifications

REQUIRED

  • Master’s degree in Social Work/Psychology/Counseling
  • Registered with California BBS as: ASW, AMFT, APCC, or fully licensed
  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Be part of a rotating emergency on-call system, scheduled with supervisor ahead of time
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and insurability through Seneca Family of Agencies’ insurance policy
  • TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements
  • Proof of up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination or an HR-approved medical/religious exemption

PREFERRED

  • Experience working with children in out-of-home care
  • Ability to work as a team player, with diverse population and demonstrates cultural competency

SKILLS OF AN IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Accuracy in documenting mental health notes, care plans, outcome measures, and incident reports
  • Managing cases based on clinical assessments and treatment plans
  • Proficiency in discussing treatment goals and progress with clients and caregivers

Schedule

  • Full-time; Monday - Friday, 9am - 5:30pm OR 10am - 6:30pm
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work some evening hours as needed
  • Be part of a rotating emergency on-call system, scheduled ahead of time with supervisor

Benefits

  • Starting at $75,010 - $89,010 per year, commensurate with experience
    • As of July 7th, this starting range will increase to $81,360 - $95,360 per year
    • Additional $4000 salary increase for BBS licensure
    • Salary increases each year
