Long-term Substitute Spanish Teacher - Bay Port High School

A long-term substitute spanish teaching position from approximately 9/3/2024-11/25/2024 is available.  The teacher will be able to plan, implement, and assess student learning experiences. Helps foster a love of learning for students and appropriately guides the learner to lead their learning.  Facilitates parental involvement.  Builds strong relationships with students. This position is located at Bay Port High School (Grades 9-12). Start date is approximately September 3, 2024.
Pay is at a rate of $190.00/day.  Pay is reduced for assignments that are less than a full day. This position is not eligible for benefits based on ACA requirements. 

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution. Licensure and certification by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction in Spanish.  Successful completion of student teaching experience. Knowledge of current educational methodology and practices.

Experience in or knowledge of: 
Viable candidates will be an active member of the school community, be able to create a positive and supportive classroom community, be organized and efficient, and be able to facilitate the district and school's mission to develop 21st Century Learners. Desired experience with working with and connecting with students with behavioral concerns is preferred.
