University of Michigan Health-West: Volunteer Opportunities

The University of Michigan Health-West offers a variety of volunteer opportunities ranging from assisting patients to their destination to helping the techs in the surgery department. We offer flexible schedules, stress-free parking, and a $7 meal card that can be used in our cafe or coffee bar.

A sample of offerings:

Activity Cart: visit patient rooms and offer games, magazines, or a chat.

Greet Patients: greet and direct visitors/patients

Assist Techs: assist surgery and endoscopy techs with restocking supplies and making up beds
