About the Position:

Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager 1 in the Division of Local Assistance (DLA), Office of Project Development, Management & Delivery (OPMD), the Associate Governmental Program performs the more complex tasks involved the administration of state and federal program and projects. Coordinates and works with DLA staff, other Caltrans staff, California Transportation Commission (CTC) staff and external partners to administer, evaluate, and monitor transportation programs and/ or transit projects under the Transit and Intercity Rail Capital Program (TIRCP), State Transportation Improvement Program, Proposition 116 Bond Program, Proposition 1-A Commuter and Urban Rail High-Speed Train Connectivity Program, SB 1 – Local Partnership Program, Section 130 - Grade Crossing and Section 190 - Grade Separation Programs, SB 125 as well as other existing and future State and Federal programs. Tasks related to other Divisional administrative duties and providing technical assistance will also be required.
