Certified Athletic Trainer / Construction Setting

This is a Full-Time ONSITE benefited position, offering competitive salary, great benefits, and culture as well as excellent growth opportunities.

We are looking ti hire several Full-time candidates in the Boston, MA, Marlboro, MA and Dallas, TX area. New sites open all the time.

Hours are 6:30 am-3:00 pm. No nights or weekends.

About this position

We are seeking a passionate wellness professional/ acute care provider/ to provide ONSITE triage/injury management and one-on-one health behavior change interventions in a construction setting You will promote a healthy culture and engage employees in the company's well-being offerings. This candidate will serve as a wellness ambassador and role model.

Responsibilities and Duties

NOTE: You MUST be a Certified Athletic Trainer through the NATA (not a personal trainer).

- Lead stretch and flex warm-up sessions for various workers onsite

- Provide triage and acute services to various trades at a construction site 

- Provide one-to-one health coaching 

· Work closely with safety committees, union representatives, and foremen to provide wellness education to the population

· Create and deploy health promotion, education, activities, and challenges

· Track health behavior change using proprietary health coaching software

· Conduct in-person health risk assessments and biometric screens (training provided)

Requirements:

Exceptional interpersonal, organization and communication skills required

Ability to work autonomously, and manage multiple priorities

Preferred:

  • Experience with construction / industrial setting
  • Trained to provide cholesterol and blood pressure screenings
  • Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task
  • Adept at counseling individuals from diverse backgrounds

Qualifications and Skills

Education Requirements:

Required: BS Degree in Community Health Education or related field

Required: Certified Athletic Trainer through the NATA

This is an ONSITE role. Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $67,000 -$78,000 per year

Expected hours: 40 per week
