Worship Director
Redeemer Church is looking for a qualified individual for the position of Worship Director. This person is responsible for building, recruiting, and shepherding the worship team that leads the congregation in Spirit-led worship. This is a full-time position with evening and weekend hours required. Annual compensation is $45,000 - $50,000, depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Recruit, develop, rehearse, and train volunteers for the Worship and Technology Teams.
- Provide instrumental and vocal leadership for all services of the church including special services to reveal Christ and proclaim the gospel.
- In conjunction with the Pastor, plan worship services and special music events including coordinating music teams, technical teams aspects, and visual elements.
- Support activities in areas of Kids Ministry, Student Ministry, and Adult Ministries by coordinating and supportive programming.
Requirements:
- A strong walk with God through a growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Music or related field
- 1-2 years experience as a Worship Leader
- Knowledgeable in technical aspects of Music and Worship Arts, including online streaming technology and equipment, projectors, and components.
- Team player with effective relational skills.
- Ability to embrace the mission, vision, and values of Redeemer Church.
