Fresh Food Technician

Key Responsibilities

  • Training and development of customer employees to ensure that a customer team is developed to handle the intricacies of the Fresh Foods and/or Bakery and/or Deli department.
  • Travels independently to multiple locations to ensure client/customer requirements are met. Retail travel needs to be scheduled in advance with an agenda outlined for the travel days. 
  • New store openings/remodels:
  • May assist stores with setting cases to plan-o-grams.
  • May train associates to set cases to plan-o-grams.
  • May support production to meet store volume needs pre and post-opening.

Work Experience Requirements:

  • Technician will know the details of Fresh Foods and/or Bakery and/or Deli operations.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be able to individually, and as part of a team, set up displays and participate in resets and remodels. 

Physical Requirements: 

  • Seeing Color Perception 
  • Lifting (40 – lbs.) 
  • Ability to Travel Pushing/Pulling Carrying (40 – lbs)
