Retirement Services Internal Sales Internship

What you’ll do:

OneAmerica Sales Apprentice Program – Retirement Services internship duties may include:

  • The purpose of this internship is to prepare college students for entry into the business and sales world by providing the opportunity to learn vital skills in sales, persuasion, work ethic and professional communication. This internship is designed to provide you a full experience so that you can envision a career with OneAmerica. You will get exposure to various parts of the business, social activities, and a mentor relationship to help you discover your own performance advantages.

Additional Details:

  • 10-week paid summer internship (May – August)
  • 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday
  • All work is expected to be hybrid, mandatory 2 days in office.
  • Housing or stipends are available for eligible candidates.

Requirements:

  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited institution towards a 4-year undergraduate degree.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Completed at least 2 years towards a bachelor's degree.
  • Preferred areas of study include Marketing, Communications, Finance, Business, or another related subject.
  • Preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Anticipated graduation in 2025-2026.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Intellectual curiosity with a strong desire to learn and grow.
  • Ability to collaborate as part of a team.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce (or other CRM) is preferred.
  • Ability to juggle shifting priorities and move projects forward despite ambiguity.

 

This selected candidate will be expected to work in a Hybrid environment. The candidate will also be expected to physically return to the office as business needs dictate or for team-building and collaboration.
