What You’ll Do

The Global R&D Specialist, Microbiome Existing Portfolio will play a crucial role in supporting the Sr. Manager of Global R&D in managing current business needs related to our Microbiome portfolio, including Culturelle, Up4 and Holigos brands. The portfolio is marketed globally with presence in North America, UK, Latin America, and Asia. This position requires an individual who has a passion for Microbiome science and can act as the scientific expert on our product portfolio.  This job requires exceptional multi-tasking skills and the ability to work at a fast pace while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail. The ideal candidate should have a collaborative mindset and desire to drive commercial impact for consumers, healthcare professionals and customers working together with cross-functional teams on numerous dynamic projects.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage scientific support for cross-functional teams including regulatory, global, and regional marketing, consumer call center, quality assurance, and global teams regarding i-Health and competitor existing products.
  • Provide support to the marketing, retail, and medical channel sales teams by assisting in the development of educational materials product descriptions, and training.
  • Maintain organization of libraries of scientific and ingredient data, ensuring that information is up-to-date and easily accessible to R&D team members.
  • Develop/Maintain product science internal training materials for the existing microbiome portfolio.
  • Contribute to the development of and primary R&D reviewer of marketing and sales materials (health claims, scripts, blogs, etc.) for existing microbiome portfolio.
  • Monitors, organizes, interprets, and documents scientific information and data to support products and claims for existing Microbiome products.

 

You bring

  • Bachelor of Science/Master's degree in a biological sciences discipline (e.g., biology, biochemistry, nutrition, physiology, or related field) with at least 2 years of experience in the dietary supplement industry.
  • Experience with R&D, and scientific affairs in the consumer health or dietary supplement industry.
  • Knowledge of gut microbiome and dietary supplement categories.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
