Hudsonville Vision Care has a growing team that works well together. We are looking to add the right candidate to continue this growth and will train the right individual.
Part-time 25-30 hours with opportunity to fill in for vacations
Duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Provide exceptional customer service at all times
- Preliminary testing and history of patients to prepare for their exam with the doctor
- Operate applicable optical testing equipment
- Dispensing of glasses
- Repair and adjusting of glasses
- Assist patients with frame selection according to style and color, coordinating frames with facial and eye measurements including lens selection that is best for patient’s prescription.
- Educate and recommend specific lenses and enhancements based on patient’s prescription
- Posting of orders applying patient’s individual insurance
- Troubleshooting - able to identify and resolve patient concerns
- Fitting of contacts for first time wearers
- Continued learning to stay current with brands and optical products
- Assist in other areas where needed

Education and /or Experience
- High school diploma or GED minimum; Associates / Bachelor degree preferred
- Preferred one year related experience / or training - willing to train the right candidate
