Coding Intern

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Coding Intern to join our team. Possible Responsibilities

• Web Development
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of our web platforms, including Cloudcockpit, Diggspace, and Smartportals.
  • Collaborate with the development team to implement new features and functionalities.
• Coding and Scripting 
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in accordance with best practices.
  • Assist in scripting tasks and automation processes to improve development workflows.
• Quality Assurance
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to coding standards.
  • Contribute to testing activities to identify and resolve software bugs.
• Innovation and Problem Solving
  • Engage in innovative problem-solving approaches to address challenges in web development projects.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Team Collaboration
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and project managers.
  • Participate in team discussions and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant frameworks.
• Familiarity with coding practices and software development methodologies.
• Eagerness to learn, adapt, and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

On-site Supervision and Support

Our internships include 24/7 on-site staff to support students working and living abroad. All students will also report to a supervisor at their internship site. Supervisors provide and oversee daily tasks, introduce the intern to team members, and mentor the intern in organizational agility, skill acquisition, and career readiness. Interns complete a midpoint and final evaluation, and supervisors complete a final evaluation of their interns. All work responsibilities and projects are approved in advance. 

Academic Credit

Students on an internship have the opportunity to enroll in their home university for credit, or enroll in a course through API to transfer back to their university for credit. Email support-internships@apiexperience.com for more information and a syllabus.
