Reports To:  Manager, Campaign Planning & Strategy 

Job Summary: 

This internship provides an opportunity to work with the Campaign Planning & Strategy team supporting Account Executives, agencies, and clients.  Primary responsibilities include projects related to proposal generation, campaign planning & execution, and data gathering & analysis. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Proposal Generation
    • Prepares proposals for Account Executives, which may include rates, descriptions, locations/maps and photos based on RFP details submitted.
    • Communicates with the appropriate Clear Channel staff to receive and understand proposal information.
    • Utilizes CCA Proprietary software, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce and other appropriate software to manage, complete & deliver proposals.
    • Ensure complete and accurate completion of proposal deliverables in a timely manner.
  • Campaign Planning & Execution
    • Uses campaign planning tools to assist in the development of sales proposals with support from the Sales Coordinators.
    • Reviews final proposals and ensures all of the requirements for a successful and compelling proposal that meets/exceeds client expectations are documented.
    • Provides proposed rate information based on market and corporate guidelines.
    • Ensures relevant and accurate turnaround of proposal requests in a timely manner.
    • Supports Account Executives in development of client proposals; including customized spreadsheets, pricing data, marketing material, etc., and assembling required documents for client proposals.
    • Works with Clear Channel Airport markets to ensure inventory is held appropriately for clients.
  • Data Gathering & Analysis
    • Runs post-campaign reports to monitor arrival and posting of creative material, proof of performance of contracted advertising campaigns and take-down of creative material.
    • Supports audience research, impression calculations, and competitive reports.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

Education & Experience

  • 4-year college degree in marketing, communications, advertising, media, management or other related field in progress.
  • Open to students starting their senior year.
  • 3.0+ GPA

  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 or Office applications (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Proficient in using a PC with Windows operating system.

  • Employee must have the ability to sit and/or stand at a desk for a minimum of 8 hours a day and complete tasks requiring repetitive use of hands.

  • This job is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment.

  • Internship length varies – 10 weeks for Summer; temporary role.
