The Program

Mallinckrodt is offering an 11-12 week internship program, which provides an immersive experience in the world of pharmaceuticals. As an MNK Intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful and impactful work that compliments the degree you are pursuing. Here, you will be able to apply what you’ve learned in the classroom to a corporate environment. In addition, our internship program is designed to include networking opportunities across the company, professional development workshops, and community service.

Job Description

Summary of Position

 

The Financial Planning and Analysis Intern role will be project-based. The objective is to learn our systems and use that knowledge to enhance tools used for periodic forecasting and sales analytics. The Intern will work directly with the Manager, FP&A with opportunities to collaborate cross-functionally.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Work with members of finance team to gain an understanding of systems and tools used for forecasting and sales analytics.
  • Establish relationships with outside departments to execute objectives.
  • Enhance tools used for periodic forecasting and sales analytics while utilizing current systems.
  • Assist in variance analysis of actual results vs. budget and monthly outlook.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

 

Minimum Requirements

 

Enrolled in bachelor’s degree program related to Finance, Accounting, or Business Analytics.

 

  • Motivated self-starter able to effectively operate independently on project tasks, including remote work.
  • Ability to quickly learn/utilize new systems.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to manage large amounts of data.
  • Candidate must have strong Microsoft Excel skills.

 

 

Relationship with Others/Scope of Position

 

Finance Intern will interact with other finance team members and cross-functionally as needed to execute objectives.
