Tax Analyst I

Role: Tax Analyst I

Location:  Providence RI 02903-Onsite

Duration: 3 months contract and possible conversion to FTE.

• -Perform reviews of account data and account maintenance as directed by team lead.
• -Duties may include input of partnership K-1 for client engagements as directed, entering data from prior trustee worksheets, and data entry for charitable accounts that have balance sheets that need to be entered manually.
• -Provide assistance to tax preparers as requested by management or team leaders.
• Experience in financial services is a plus, tax experience is desirable. 

Here are some desirable qualifications:

• Minimum of one year of recent tax experience preferred
• Maintains flexibility by adapting effectively when dealing with different tasks, responsibilities, people and environments
• Experience preparing fiduciary and/or individual tax forms in a professional services firm preferred
• Experience with automated tax return preparation software and MS Office applications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to perform responsibilities with little supervision and the ability to independently manage assigned account load and a team player
