Key Details:

  • Compensation: $15 - $18/hour, DOE
  • Start Date: March 1, 2024
  • End Date: Ongoing
  • Location: Ft. Collins, CO
  • Additional Details: 10-20 hours per week. Flexible schedule. Potential for advancement and full-time employment.

 

Job Description:

The Office Assistant will aid the Ft. Collins office and team through a variety of administration, coordination and office support tasks.

 

Primary Duties Involve:  

  • Assisting Branch Manager with all office operations, infrastructure, and maintenance issues.
  • Light office-keeping, cleaning, ordering and stocking break room and office supplies.
  • Data entry, maintaining spreadsheets and company records.
  • Tracking credit card charges, budgeting & reconciliation.
  • Administrative assistance in some of WEST’s internal applications.
  • Working with IT to provide team members with necessary office equipment.
  • Scheduling meetings in Teams and shared conference spaces.
  • Planning and executing office events and team travel.
  • Occasional Fed-Ex shipping and mail distribution.
  • Providing notetaking, spreadsheet preparation, and other clerical support as requested.
  • Monthly Health & Safety Checks.
  • Occasionally assisting with hiring efforts by helping managers screen candidates and schedule interviews.
  • Other miscellaneous office/administrative tasks as assigned by supervisor or project managers.

 Requirements:

  • High school graduate.
  • One to two years recent administrative support experience desired
  • Proficient using MS 365 (Word, Excel), and Google Drive.
  • Must be able to interact professionally with diverse personalities.
  • Demonstrate and provide examples of organizational skills and positive attitude.
  • Independent judgment and initiative to plan, prioritize, and organize diverse workload.
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written).
  • Ability to communicate ideas for improving company and project processes with a positive and constructive attitude.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow up with reminders and timelines.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to perform tasks accurately.

 

After an offer of employment is made, the candidate must successfully pass a pre-employment background check, drug screening, and a DMV records check that meets WEST’s minimum criteria to operate a motor vehicle on behalf of the company.  A valid driver’s license will be required. Candidates must adhere to all health and safety requirements.
