Registered Nurse (RN) Operating Room

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide knowledgeable/caring clinical practice and care coordination through an understanding of patients, families, nurses and healthcare delivery teams.
- Ensure all patient care activities and interactions are patient and family centered by integrating knowledge, skills and experiences to meet the needs of patients and families throughout the continuum of care, to include patient and family education, is of vital importance.
- Communicating effectively and working cooperatively with others while showing respect for and an understanding of other clinical disciplines is required.
The ORs function 24/7 with the support of call team on off-shifts and holidays. It is a fast- paced environment that focuses on strong teamwork and patient safety.
Job Requirements:
- Experience: At least 1 year of Operating Room nursing experience is required.
- Education: BSN or AD, if AD then must obtain BSN or MSN within 24 months from start date.
- RN licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia
- BLS (AHA) for Healthcare Provider certification required
- CNOR highlight desired
- Must be available to take call when scheduled.
