Volunteer for 1Million Families March for the Cure to Childhood Cancer

The Ahmad Butler Foundation is planning a 1Million Families March for the Cure to Childhood Cancer on September 1-15, 2024. To take place on The National Mall in Washington, DC and in 11 satellite cities throughout the USA. There are a string of events occurring as we paint the USA in yellow during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Such as a film documentary, fundraising telethon, a self care-health fair convention, motorcycle ride, and more.

OUR GOALS …

To RAISE AWARENESS and steer a public discussion of children's cancer and its devastating, often-overlooked effects on family and/or community’s well-being. 

To ADVOCATE  for  an increase of  the allotted  government childhood funding research from  4% to 10%.

To FUNDRAISE 100 million dollars for creating seed funding for a 6-month bill supplemental program for newly diagnosed families that are in need. 

We are looking for Volunteers to JOIN THE FIGHT against childhood cancer. There are volunteer and intern opportunities available (virtual and in person) for the following:

Intern with experienced producers and directors of the 1MFM  film documentary, and telethon. 

Intern with experienced producers and directors of the 1MFM  film documentary, and telethon. 

Intern under Director Lupinetti (25 years data analysis experience) ABF’s Data And Analytics Division

Intern/Volunteer with communications, community outreach and social media

Volunteer with event planning and brainstorming 

Volunteer, get your peers to sign petition to Congress
