Data Analyst Intern

Position Responsibilities:
As an intern in the areas of Economics, with an emphasis of Innovation Policy, and Marketing, your
responsibilities may include:
• Research and Analysis: Conduct research on various economic and market trends, innovation
policies, and marketing strategies.
• Data Management: Assist in organizing and managing datasets related to economic
indicators, market research, innovation metrics, and marketing campaigns.
• Marketing Support: Support the marketing team in planning and implementing marketing
campaigns. Help with content creation, social media management, email marketing, and
tracking campaign performance.
• Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, economists, policy
analysts, and marketing professionals. Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions.

About the Organization
We transformed coffee into a business model. Well versed in the coffee market and an entrepreneur by nature, our founder decided to create his own brand of coffee in 1961. In the Alentejo town of Campo Maior, in a small warehouse with 50 square metres of space and without many resources, activity started with just two small roasters with a capacity of 30 kg. The relationship with our clients is just the same as the relationship between the man at the counter, and his regular customer, who have come to trust each other and to share life in the flavour and aroma of a cup of coffee.

On-site Supervision and Support

Our internships include 24/7 on-site staff to support students working and living abroad. All students will also report to a supervisor at their internship site. Supervisors provide and oversee daily tasks, introduce the intern to team members, and mentor the intern in organizational agility, skill acquisition, and career readiness. Interns complete a midpoint and final evaluation, and supervisors complete a final evaluation of their interns. All work responsibilities and projects are approved in advance. 

Academic Credit

Students on an internship have the opportunity to enroll in their home university for credit, or enroll in a course through API to transfer back to their university for credit. Email support-internships@apiexperience.com for more information and a syllabus.
