Physical Therapist

Outpatient Physical Therapist Position Available!

Over the past 25 years we have been able to help tens or thousands of local residents, and grow our team.

We are Multi Disciplinary: Including Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy for both Adult and Pediatrics.

We are now growing and in need of a Physical Therapist.

The position requirements for this are:

  • Conduct initial evaluations, and provide skilled physical therapy treatment plans in accordance with physician orders.
  • Bring the Energy so patients have an amazing customer experience.
  • Assures continuation of therapeutic plan following discharge by designing home exercise programs; instructing patients, recommending and/or providing assistive equipment; recommending follow-up programs.
  • Promptly and thoroughly documents and maintains clinical and administrative records regarding patient limitations/interventions, treatments, responses and progress to administered therapy as well as discharge summaries.
  • Achieve Monthly and Quarterly KPI goals agreed upon by you and your supervisor.
  • Maintain patient records confidentiality.
  • Records treatment charges daily and completes charge tickets in accurate and timely manner.
  • When needed supervise and direct Physical Therapy Assistants and Physical Therapy Aides in direct patient care and related activities as requested.
  • Must be able to recognize and respond appropriately to urgent/emergent situations per protocols.
  • Maintain a work area, exam rooms and supplies.
  • Maintain professional appearance and personal conduct at all times.
  • Bring your imagination and creativity to our weekly meetings
  • Make decisions and suggest ideas to improve the clinic and efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

  • Graduated from an accredited physical therapy program.
  • Current Michigan State Physical Therapist license.
  • Certification/Licensure: CPR certification for Health Care Providers.
  • Pediatric experience is a plus
  • May be scheduled between the hours of 8am - 7pm
