Allina Health is hiring new grad RNs! We are dedicated to supporting you with a Nurse Residency Program for the first 6-12 months as you transition from student to professional nurse.
- Allina is a not-for-profit health care system and one of the largest employers in Minnesota with 27,000+ employees.
- There are a wide variety of patient care units within the 12 hospital campuses of the Allina Health system that regularly hire new grad RNs, such as:
- Cardiac Telemetry
- Float Pool
- Inpatient Mental Health
- Inpatient Physical Rehabilitation
- Intermediate/Progressive Care
- Medical Surgical
- Neuroscience
- Oncology
- Orthopedics
- Short Stay Observation
- Spine
- Vascular Telemetry
- Our Intensive Care Units, Emergency Department and Mother Baby areas also hire new graduates with experience in those respective areas depending on position availability.
- Our hospitals primarily serve the adult patient populations so we do not have Neonatal, Pediatrics or Special Care Nursery units within the Allina hospital system.
- You will interview and be hired for a specific position/work schedule based on your interests and position availability. Straight night shifts or day/night rotations are often available for new grads, with straight evening or day/evening also possibilities.
- New graduates submit one application and are considered for all RN positions within the Allina system that will new grads. You will indicate your hospital and unit preferences on the application.
- We encourage you to apply prior to graduation, but you can do so whenever feels best for you. We hire and start new graduates year-round and will be ready to work with you when you apply.
